Work moves so quickly on-site and it’s amazing to see the planning which happens behind the scenes to make this happen.  I am also surrounded by a wealth of knowledge and everyone is always willing to take the time to explain why things are done a certain way.

My main responsibility is to facilitate the optimal production of iron ore from mining operations.

Having goals is very important, know what you want to do, set the goal you want to achieve and strive for doing your best.

One of the biggest perks at Powerco is the flexible working hours, this allows me to balance my work with my other interests like cricket, squash etc.

In my opinion, a role in auditing is best suited for someone with an accounting/finance background. It is important to have an understanding of audit standards and a basic knowledge of accounting.

I love my role because it’s so user-impacting, especially when releasing features that will be used by the world the next day.
