Sharmeen Kaur graduated with a Bachelor of Business Information Systems from Monash University, Caufield in 2018 and is now working as a Consultant at Capgemini Australia.
Sharmyn studied Bachelor of Computer Science and Technology at University of Sydney, graduated in 2019, and is now working as Associate Solution Engineer at VMware.
While it is necessary to have a foundational knowledge of Process or Chemical Engineering to do my IROC role, most of the day-to-day skills I have used in all my roles are soft skills of organisation, communication, management, and collaboration.
We made our way around the corner to see a few more friendly faces from the different Steadfast underwriting agencies like Miramar, Mansions and Procover. It was good to see a few familiar faces from the Steadfast office, catch up and better familiarize myself with their products.
I linked it back to the KiwiSaver industry, which is something I have become familiar with ever since working at the FMA. The discussion at the end was insightful and helped me reflect on the topic.
