Minal studied a Bachelor of Engineering, Hons. (Mechatronics) at the University of New South Wales and is now a Graduate Engineer at the Department of Defence.
The versatility of having days where I am working at a water treatment site that supplies the water we drink and knowing I am indirectly impacting the way we live versus sitting in an office and tapping into my problem-solving skills to find a solution.
My role teaches me the skills necessary to drive change and lead projects within our community, which is crucial for the prosperity and development of our culture and community.
One week I could be prepping for a court case, observing in court and strategising with senior lawyers and the next week I could be reviewing a dense brief of evidence and drafting an advise on prospects to a client.
The coolest thing about my job is the team that I get to work with! The Storage Engines team is a globally distributed and diverse group of individuals, and everyone is very open to sharing their experiences.
