      Stockland’s Graduate programme:

As a top Graduate employer, our program offers you a permanent role that takes you on a 2-year journey.  The experiences you’ll have along the way will help you to develop the key capabilities you need to kick-start a successful career. Those experiences include the coaching and support of a dedicated Sponsor, tailored learning events on topics such as innovation and commercial acumen, connecting with Graduates from around the country and much more.

      The opportunity:

This Graduate role will work with Stockland’s various Property Management teams who are responsible for ensuring smooth and effective daily operations for our retirement villages, retail town centres, and workplace and logistics assets. Managing each type of property brings its own challenges and will help you to build different skills.  As such, during your two-year program, you will have two, 6-month rotations within Stockland’s different types of assets and two rotations to be selected by you, with the help and support of your sponsor.  This will help you gain a broad overview of the function and its responsibility in ensuring the organisation's success. The experience you gain on these rotations will further help you decide where you would like to look for your next career step, after the Graduate program finishes.

      Responsibilities are varied, including:

      • Building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants and the community through the delivery of outstanding service.
      • Assessing the ongoing growth potential of each asset and providing input to refurbishment or disposal strategies.
      • Developing and delivering Strategic Asset Management plans.
      • Delivering specific change programs to grow the operations, increase efficiency and sustain high levels of customer service.  This includes identifying process improvement opportunities and developing operational guidelines.
      • Understanding key financial performance indicators for the portfolio of assets and effectively communicating financial outcomes.
      • Delivering against the action plans associated with risk audits, asset inspections and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Plans.

      Requirements:

      • You are currently studying for or have completed a suitable degree within 24 months of the program start date, in February 2022.
      • We are excited to consider candidates from any degree background, including but not limited Property/Real Estate, Commerce or Business degree and much more.
      • Due to the permanent nature of this role, we can only accept applications from Citizens or Permanent Residents of Australia or New Zealand.
