I am assigned to a great team where I am responsible to do backend and devo's work. The work is interesting with healthy level of challenge.

Currently WiQ Retail analyst - building tools, debugging code and improving efficiency

I automate various processes including PowerPoint slides, excel reports and emails. I also work to improve our dashboard and do ad hoc data pulls.

DevOps/App Development (C#) as part of being a Software Engineer. Documentation for above. Lower responsibilities for Graduate Engineers as focus is more on Learning and Development.

I get good autonomy, I learn a lot of new technical and soft skills, and I engage with plenty of stakeholders to deliver projects. Basically, my role is to enable the analytical capabilities and efficient decision making of some of the internal teams at Quantium, including Resourcing and Finance. A lot of my work involves building our internal data pipeline and building reports for colleagues, with insights that are not readily available through our source systems.

I am doing data engineering which involves working on data pipelines, examining the quality of data, adding features to existing workflows, and building new ones.

Running a pipeline, adding metrics to a dashboard, some stakeholder engagement. Agile working (scrum, retro etc)

Largely working on new app development. Work is fairly varied and interesting.

I work within the Data Engineering team(s) as contribute to code regarding the data pipelines that provide input to our software solutions.

As a software engineer, I work on a full frontend/backend stack working in a combination of C#, dotnet, typescript and css (mostly). Day to day I have somewhere between 0.5 and 3 hours of meetings depending on the day and where in the sprint it is.

As a grad, I've gotten the chance to work on many different projects (note: this isn't typical, but came about due to the team's circumstances). A typical day would include stand-ups, check-ins and other meetings, with the actual work being a mix of scripting in Python, visualising data in Excel, all to answer an analytical question given to me by my team lead. I also have opportunities to do self-guided learning and development.

Analytics

Analytical work and client-based work that requires problem solving, slide deck creation and stakeholder engagement. This involves coding and putting ideas into solutions frameworks.
