Product Analyst Intern, Collection Methodology / Knowledge Management

Interested in learning how high-quality data can be used for strategic and organisational planning at higher education institutions globally? We’re looking for hardworking student(s) with a passion for writing and/or strong analytical capabilities to join the Collection Methodology or Knowledge Management teams at NousCubane. 

Our teams are focused on developing and maintaining collection methodologies, data frameworks and guidance materials to support our clients in gathering and analysing data that is comparable across organisations. We play a core role in maintaining the integrity of data for our international benchmarking program in the higher education sector (UniForum) and supporting NousCubane’s growth: new clients, new regions, new products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in writing, analytical, problem-solving and research activities, leaving you with core skills that will support you in a range of careers. This is a casual, 2-day per week position, with options for flexible and additional working days that can accommodate your university timetable.

Key activities of a Product Analyst Intern, may include:

  • Developing and maintaining high-quality client guidance, including writing knowledge base articles, producing briefings (PowerPoint), creating supporting images / diagrams, and producing videos
  • Creating validation checks for classification frameworks and checking for inconsistencies in how aspects of these frameworks are interpreted across regions 
  • Building and analysing quantitative and qualitative data and surveys
  • Summarising key client issues and themes to assist with prioritising improvement ideas, and helping to implement improvement initiatives
  • Conducting guided research, analyses and planning to assist with operations improvement projects and integrating new products into standard operations
  • Building relationships across NousCubane and providing secondary presentation support during peak collection activities 

A bit about you: 

  • Excellent writing abilities, allowing you to accurately interpret information and present it in a concise way (Knowledge Management)
  • Strong Excel skills, enabling you to maintain complex frameworks accurately and efficiently (Collection Methodology)
  • Studying towards a bachelor’s degree with a demonstrated strong academic background
  • Curious, thorough, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Committed to producing high quality work
  • Effective at working autonomously and collaboratively, using initiative to draw on the expertise of those around you
  • Willingness to learn and help others
