Our Research & Development Leadership Experience is a two year, accelerated development program designed to set you up for success on your path to becoming a future leader at Mars. You will develop across two assignments within the R&D function, which are real roles, delivering real results for Mars.

Working at our Mars Food site in Wyong, NSW where our teams develop the likes of Masterfoods, Dolmio, and KanTong, you will join our Research and Development team and play a key role in delivering our Sustainable in a Generation strategy to produce a sustainable packaging solution to our consumers by 2025. Your first assignment as a Packaging Technologist will have you play a critical role in executing this strategy.

Due to the nature of a role in Packaging, it is well suited for someone who has a passion for science and exploring what is possible, but also has a creative flair and enjoys seeing the presentation of their quality product. If you are detail-oriented, collaborative, and innovative, this could be your calling!

You will also gain exposure to and have the opportunity to understand a variety of roles across Quality and Food Safety, Product Development, and Process Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Packaging Development: Manage packaging innovation projects along with the implementation of continuous improvement activities, into our factories and markets. Specifically focussing on how to improve the sustainability position of our packaging portfolio.
• Product Development: Manage product innovation projects along with the implementation of continuous improvement activities, into our factories and markets.
• Process Development: Manage process innovation projects along with the implementation of continuous improvement activities, into our factories and markets.
• Quality & Food Safety: Manage implementation and improvement of Quality & Food Safety standards along with driving quality initiatives to protect our consumers, brands and business.
