Lendlease Building currently has a unique opportunity for a Graduate Site Engineer to kickstart their career on a $300 + million dollar Defence project in Perth, WA. Working within a highly professional and knowledgeable team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and get exposure across a variety of construction packages as well as build your knowledge around quality and safety. This will allow you to fast track your long-term career progression within Lendlease.

Our Building business is one of Australia’s largest construction companies, recognised for our market-leading design, project management and construction services. We push boundaries to create iconic places that are innovative, sustainable and commercially viable.

Lendlease is proud to be partnering with the Australian Defence Force to deliver a $300 + million dollar managing contract for the second stage of infrastructure works at Garden Island in Perth. These works are the third package to be delivered under the Navy Capability Infrastructure Sub-program, which will total approximately $2.1billion of new facilities and infrastructure to be delivered across Australia over the next 6 years. This is a significant investment for the ADF and will be vital to maintaining Australia’s national security across the region.

As a Graduate Site Engineer, you would work alongside the wider construction project teams responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities and efforts of contractors and suppliers onsite to ensure construction is completed within schedule and cost. This will involve supporting the project across safety, quality, cost and program. 

As a participant of the two-year Lendlease Graduate Program you will be supported through a structured learning and development program, rotations, dynamic managers, various on the job activities, networking and social activities – allowing you to build lasting relationships with both senior leaders and fellow graduates.

Coupled with your passion for the Built Environment, we are looking for students with degrees in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering (Civil/Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics/Robotics), Architecture Property Development or any related discipline.  You will enjoy interacting with a diverse range of individuals, be motivated by challenge and change whilst driven to deliver results through your resourcefulness.  We look for graduates who are passionate, motivated and driven to make a difference, with a commitment to safety, sustainability and diversity.

Our projects can be found around the country; within the metro and regional locations, so it is essential you would be prepared to be mobile/relocate across these project needs.
