Power engineering is a male-dominated industry.
As far as I know, EQL doesn't specifically target or recruit people from ethnic minorities and the LGBTIQA+ community or women. They strongly encourage them to apply though.
Those in the office are accepting of people from all backgrounds.

Committed to diversity on basically all fronts: gender, cultural, sexual identity, etc. Focus throughout all processes such as recruitment, retention, promotion, etc. Naturally there are less women in technical roles but it is generally equivalent to national/university percentages - needs a bit more work but not just an Energy Queensland problem.

I believe they are quite committed and supportive of diversity. This includes woman, ethnic minorities and LGBTIQA+ community. It is great to be part of a company which supports all backgrounds, cultures and beliefs.
