The Elders Corporate Graduate Program is a 24-month program, specifically designed to build well-rounded graduates who are ready to take on future leadership and technical positions within Elders. As a leading Australian agribusiness, joining Elders’ Corporate Graduate Program will provide you with the opportunity to be backed by over 180 years of award-winning industry experience*.
Within the program, you'll be exposed to four rotations, each lasting six months, exposing you to various roles with different focuses within your field. You'll receive practical training from our leaders and be able to put your learnings to use, working to improve sustainability, customer experience and business efficiency.
We’ll support you every step of the way with on-the-job experience, dedicated coaching and professional development plans. Our program offers:
The program runs for 24 months, beginning in late January 2023. Over two years, you will gain exposure to the business via four rotations. Elders will set your rotations to help build your foundational understanding of the business, your skills and experience in critical areas. However, if, as a successful candidate, you expressed interest in a field not covered by the proposed rotations, we may be able to tailor those to meet your needs.
All rotations are designed to give you greater exposure to the business and allow you to grow your skills across different disciplines.
The Graduate Corporate Program prioritises hands-on training, allowing you to apply your learnings to real problems and make real contributions to the business and Australian farmers. You'll receive guidance and training from experts in the field in each rotation and be assigned a mentor who will support you through the program, providing additional coaching and advice.
At the end of the program, you may be offered a permanent role with Elders.
We have five program streams available for our 2023 Graduate Program. Details of each stream, including location and relevant university degrees eligible for each program, are listed below:

We’re interested in graduates with diverse experience, from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about building a career with Elders.
Step 1. Complete our easy application form
This is where you’ll get the chance to tell us about who you are, your skills and experience. We’ll want to see your CV, but don’t worry about a cover letter.
Step 2. Online assessment
Once we’ve had a look at your application, if you meet our eligibility criteria, we’ll invite you to complete an online assessment.
You can take the online assessment at home or anywhere you have internet access.
When completing your online assessment, make sure you’re free from distraction and have strong internet connection. Read the questions carefully and if you’re unfamiliar with these types of assessments, try some practice questions beforehand.
Step 3. Video interview
If you’re successful in the online assessment, you’ll move onto the next stage – video interviews.
This stage gives us a deeper understanding of who you are and provides a great opportunity for you to share a little bit about yourself with us.
Once you log onto our secure site, you’ll be asked a few questions and you’ll need to record your responses. You can do this at any time, and anywhere you feel comfortable.
Prepare for your Video Interview by thinking about the various school, work, and life experiences you can draw on. Think about how you can make your experience relevant to the role you’re applying for. We recommend your research the ‘STAR approach’ to structure your response for the best possible result.
Step 4. Engagement Centre
The final stage of the recruitment process is our Engagement Centre. You’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills by participating in a range of interactive activities. You’ll also be able to meet past graduates and business leaders and find out more about the graduate program.
Our Engagement Centres will be held in October and will be online, so you don’t need to travel to attend them in person. We'll keep you updated once dates are finalised.
Step 5. Getting an offer – Woohoo!
If you're successful, we'll call you a few days after your Engagement Centre with the news.
Good luck! We’ll keep in touch throughout the selection process to let you know how your application is tracking.
Applications for our Graduate Corporate Program are now open and will close on 3 October 2022 at 10 am (AEST).
