      Cor Cordis is looking for a graduate to join our Melbourne Corporate and Personal Insolvency team in July or August 2021.

      What will you do?

      As part of your role within our firm, you will be exposed to a full range of Personal Insolvency appointments (including Bankruptcy and Personal Insolvency Agreements) together with Company Insolvency appointments (including Creditors Voluntary Liquidations, Court Liquidations etc).

      The successful candidate will complete a wide variety of tasks under supervision of qualified and experienced practitioners, including:

      • dealing with and reporting to creditors, banks and statutory authorities
      • conducting investigations into the financial affairs of companies and individuals
      • assisting in the assessment and realisation of assets.

      What we are looking for?

      We are looking for a graduate who meets the following criteria:

      • an accounting qualification (Bachelor, Masters or Major in Accounting)
      • efficient and motivated, while flexible to the challenges of working in a professional environment
      • attention to detail combined with a common sense approach to problem-solving
      • strong written and verbal communication skills enabling you to build relationships with external and internal stakeholders
      • Australian citizenship or permanent residency at the time of application
      • strong team orientation
      • planning to commence CA/CPA study
