What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
With long days working for 13 hours a day pay should be bit more.
Graduate, Townsville - 12 Aug 2024
My pay was expected as starting as a graduate. but hopefully will progress as my career does. Not sure about bonuses.

I am highly satisfied with the pay and bonuses at our company. They are competitive and reflect the hard work and dedication of the employees. Additionally, the bonus structure rewards outstanding performance, making it a motivating factor for the team.

We got paid well to compensate the long hour work and roster
Graduate, Townsville - 30 Jul 2024
Standard pay compared to others in the industry and bonuses are also standard and not always reflective of performance.

No Bonuses atm
Graduate, Sydney - 29 Jul 2024
At every level it could be 10-15k more to be more aligned with the market. site vehicles are only provided to Project engineers and above which leaves site engineers dissatisfied with the lack of perks
Graduate, Melbourne - 29 Jul 2024
They reflect my input into the company as it should.
Graduate, Perth - 29 Jul 2024
We don't get bonuses. The pay for our engineers at every level is below the local and regional mean and median averages. The salary bands for our engineering roles haven't shifted since 2020, yet the cost of living and general inflation continue to rise. Our engineers should be paid for their value. We will continue to struggle with not only retention but more importantly retention of quality personnel if our pay brackets aren't adjusted.
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Jul 2024
The pay appears to be a bit behind the average compared to other graduates i have spoken to. i have not received a bonus yet.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Jul 2024

For graduate engineer like me 75k is the average salary is more than enough. However, I did not receive any bonuses maybe because I'm a graduate so maybe still under probation.
Graduate, Darwin - 18 Jan 2023
I think the pay at our company is slightly behind t our competitors and plays a big part in retention. I know my salary is appropriate for my level and role however think there are other roles that need banding reviewing.

Pay is good, and they seem to reward people well for good work and dedication.
Graduate, Brisbane - 13 Jan 2023
Although the base salary may not be great when comparing to other companies, BMD offer great site based incentives.

We receive a fuel allowance on top of our salary which is a nice bonus, especially for long drives to site

Bonuses create good incentive for employees.
