Security/Intelligence Engineer Intern (Nov 2024)

Your role

As an intern in one of the Security teams, you'll watch over the corporate environment and Atlassian cloud services which host many tens of thousands of customers. Using your experience in multiple languages and tech stacks you will discover and fix security vulnerabilities within Atlassian products and services, hone your pen testing and Red Team skills by analysing those, participate in architecture and code reviews, threat modelling, and work with all the Atlassian engineering groups.

About you

This program is open to penultimate-year university students with Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency, or New Zealand citizenship. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The internship dates are late November 2024 to late February 2025, full-time for 12 weeks.

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a related technical field and completing your studies by January 2026
• Great skills in writing clean, efficient code
• Be comfortable writing code and not depend on third-party products to do your job
• This can be a remote position.
